About the Discovery
After
close observation of a few patients in his family who suffered from intermittent fever and
were not responding to the old concept of totality, that is physicals plus mentals,
he focused and prescribed on the mental signals being given out by the patient. To
his surprise he began to gain positive results. |
It was this chance discovery that led to his enunciation of Revolutionized
Homoeopathy (R.H.). This was taking into consideration the established masters' view that
if we have dependable mentals we could ignore physicals. Over the years he developed his
method into a fully-fledged concept which is holistic in its approach but sometimes
wrongly interpreted as a one-track prescription. He laid down the foundation of
utilisation of these principles independently, systematically and scientifically and in
the process gave the world a novel and unique way of using and interpreting rubrics, a
method in itself, know as Revolutionized Homoepathy or lovingly the Sehgal Method.
Principles of R.H.
According to Dr. Sehgal, two main functions, namely, Assimilation and
Elimination are continuously and automatically taking place in the body. If this routine
is disturbed then, apart from producing physicals, it has a corresponding influence on the
mind in the form of feelings. These feelings result in some sort of reflections in the
form of speech and/or action(s). Dr. Sehgal discovered that these spoken words and
action(s) are the key symptoms that are to be applied to rubrics and the physicals can be
ignored. |
